Scott and Sandy, co-authors of ‘The Country Fair: Oregon’s Alternative Celebration’ is the first photo book of the fair. It includes images by Scott Blackman, as well as, long time and well known fair photographers Paxton Hoag, Ann Goddard, Jeff Ouderkirk, and Brad Yazzolino. The images cover the fair from it’s first year in 1969 ending in 2017. The book was published in 2018 a couple of months before Scott Blackman died. The book was Scott’s “pet project” and photographing the fair was the highlight of his summer. With this in mind Sandy has decided to honor Scott by selling the books at a deep discount. There is a limited amount of books and there are no plans to print anymore.

This book is primarily a chronology of the life of Donald Arthur Davis who was hired as Newport, Oregon's, first City Manager on October 1, 1962 and whose highest concern was always for the benefit of the people he served during his twenty-nine-year career. It is my hope that this book will also provide inspiration and guidance to upcoming generations of men and women who are called to community leadership positions. I've included insight into the motives and practices that made Don a beloved and sorely missed leader. Not only is this the true story of his life, it is a parable from which to glean meaning as we consider our future and the futures of our children and grandchildren." –Deborah H. Trusty

This is a completely true internet love story, except dogs don’t type. Once upon a time, some women on the Internet were discussing gender differences. Jean wrote, "Women apologize too much. I even apologize to my dog." Someone else on the list asked, "What did you do to your dog?" Penelope wrote, "She probably stepped on him. Because dogs want to be exactly where you are." And she signed it—"Penelope (owned by Lily)," because dog-people are owned by their dogs. Jean posted a response. "Hey, he’s a guy. I’m the one who wants to be closer to him." And then A WONDERFUL THING happened! Jean’s dog, Rumi, sent an email to Penelope’s dog, Lily. Read on to see what came next....

This book is dedicated to those who have lost loved ones and whose hearts are broken. The thoughts and experiences contained in Good Grief are meant to soothe the pain of grief, which is unimaginable to those who have not experienced such loss.

Friends often gather at the time of death and then, as the weeks and months go by, they slip away. It’s in our nature to find it more comfortable to attend a memorial service than to sit beside a friend who is experiencing their sixth month of grieving. We do not know what to say. Most often we say nothing. This book lets people know they can help each other not feel so alone after losing a loved one.

Unlike the usual model that describes conflict as opposing ends of one line of contention, The Area of Enlightenment proposes that arguments are really two lines placed in a crossed-axis position. When conflict is explored using this new 4-quadrant model, the clear separation of disputed components becomes possible. It is in these added dimensions that options quickly increase and resolution becomes possible. In The Area of Enlightenment, Winningstad introduces new techniques for solving problems in the home, workplace, community, politics, and religion.

Coldspring is a story about Karmic Redemption for 2 men and 1 woman. The first in a series of three books, Coldspring chronicles the lives of these 3 hapless individuals as they reincarnate together over and over again. The story begins 12,000 years ago and culminates in 1935. Coldspring is based on 3 actual murders that occurred in Coldspring, NY in the same fashion over a span of almost 235 years! True Crime and New Age readers will love this book!

The tale of two men and one woman, violently bound together by thousands of years of karmic debt, further unravels in this second installment of "Coldspring", a three-volume series.

"Coldspring: The Trial" is based on actual events, grand jury testimony, appeal records, official witness statements, telegrams, teletypes, handwritten notes, correspondence, newspaper articles and statements taken by the authors from people who were alive when the murders and the trial occurred.

A recommend read by Ann Rule. This story was shown on CBS 60 minutes. A true crime story, Plague of Justice is written by the murder victim's son. This story portrays a 14-year long distressing ordeal of frivolous litigation brought on by the convicted killer. The victim's son tells the story of his father s murder. After a seven month investigation, with the help of the victim's son, detectives exposed the culprits, the ring leader being his father's CPA, who was running his dad's accounting practice at the time. At first glance, the brutal murder of 49-year-old James Turel looked like the clumsy handiwork of a burglar, but there was more - much more - to the wealthy businessman's homicide. Greed, jealousy, resentment...all the ingredients to make this read like an Agatha Christie novel.
